Before the Cubs moved to Chicago's North Side, the baseball club at Clark and Addison was the Whales of the Federal League, who played in
Weeghman Park (the same structure/location we now know as
Wrigley Field).
Whales? In Chicago?! Well...Cubs and Bears don't make much sense either.
