Cubstock
We all knew that when the Chicago Cubs finally won the World Series there would be one helluva party. Sure enough, when the 2016 club clinched the title in an epic seven game struggle, 5 million blue-blooded fans showed up for a memorable parade and rally in downtown Chi-town.
In various stages of sobriety and undress, our local heroes addressed the giant crowd that camped out in a sprawling muddy field...it was hippie-at-heart Joe Maddon who best summed up the epic vibe with a historical reference – “Welcome to Cubstock!”
With baseball rock stars on stage and adoring groupies as far as the eye could see, it was an apt comparison...and it inspired this fun new shirt based in part on the original concert poster, with some North Side flavor thrown in for good measure.
Like all National Fanthem designs, this is not an official product of any player, league, franchise, or music festival -- it's just a fun piece of unique art from our imagination; drawn by hand and rendered digitally as a lossless high-resolution vector graphic for ideal printing. It comes on 100% cotton preshrunk tees in sizes small through 5XL.
