From the Big Island to the big stage, Notre Dame All-American linebacker Manti Te'o is a driven, humble team player who has led the resurgence of the Fighting Irish football program and may end his collegiate career with a Heisman Trophy and BCS Championship. He would never put himself ahead of the school, but we can have fun blending the two into a new comic logo -- the Fighting Mantirish!
Recruited heavily coming out of Hawaii, Manti was the 2008 high school player of the year and was on the verge of committing to USC when he was inspired by a viewing of the Dead Poets Society to change his mind and head to South Bend. Call it divine intervention, call it the luck of the Irish, but Notre Dame had its captain (or "oh captain, my captain"). With Te'o on the field and Coach Kelly on the sideline, ND has surged to the top of the polls and this titan from the Rainbow State will seek the ultimate pot of gold when his team plays for the national title in January.
Show your appreciation for this soft-spoken hero with this fun new design that imagines Manti as a scrappy tattooed Samoan leprechaun fighting for the Golden Domers -- it's not the Irish, it's not Manti...it's MantIrish!
Like all National Fanthem, it's not an official shirt of any player, school, organization or emerald fairy -- it's just a comical piece of original art from our imagination; drawn by hand and rendered digitally as a lossless high-resolution vector graphic for perfect printing. It's available on Irish, Navy, Gold or SPort Grey heavyweight pre-shrunk shirts in sizes small through 5XL. (Alternate brands/cuts/colors/sizes can be custom-printed for little additional cost
