Hockey players are known for taking abuse and being tough, but there may be few tougher than Chicago Blackhawk alternate captain Duncan Keith.
During a Western Conference Championship game in the midst of the Hawks 2010 Stanley Cup drive, Duncan took a stick to the mouth that knocked seven teeth out of his jaw...yet he returned in the next period to help ice the conference-clinching match. "It's tougher talking, but it's not as bad as you think it is," he said, displaying his new sporadic smile. Wow.
A few weeks later he was hoisting the Cup and grinning more broadly than ever -- the pain was forgotten, but a legend was born. To this day his teammates tease him, fans respect him and the opposition knows that Keith can't be kept down.
Salute the toughness and character of Duncan Keith with this fun new design that parodies a popular national logo in a satirical salute to Duncan's smile.
It comes on red or black 100% cotton preshrunk tees in sizes small through 5XL. (Alternate sizes/colors/cuts/styles can be printed on request). Like all National Fanthem designs, it is not an official product of any player, league, franchise or donut chain -- it's just a fun piece of unique art from our imagination; drawn by hand and rendered digitally as a lossless high-resolution vector graphic that prints perfectly for discerning fans.
